The Letsgo Sunderland website is managed by Sunderland City Council.

If you have an idea for an article or details of an activity that young people can get involved in then we’d love to hear from you. You can email our Acting Editor, Lucy Coleman at editor@letsgosunderland.com

Here are some guidelines on how to get something published on our site:

-Remember that the website is used by young people. Get a young person or group of young people to read and amend the article or, better still, get them to write it.

-Pictures, pictures, pictures. Each page is designed to be accompanied by a gallery of photographs. However, remember to get the consent of the people in the picture first.

-Links to other pages and other websites really help. Content on the internet as a whole works best when you link it to other content. This may be a website that provides the activity or a governing body.

-Think whether you are writing a feature, a news article or about an activity. A feature is more in depth and provides good background information; a news article is about a specific event that has happened or is planned and an activity is about something that young people can get involved with.

-Please provide a postcode if it is an activity. The website provides maps for each activity that is linked to a postcode.
