Community Radio Station

Spark FM is Sunderland's own community radio station. Spark FM is a community radio station serving the 15-24 year old’s of Sunderland. Creating opportunities for people to tell their stories and contribute and even lead discussions that affect them.
No experience is needed so anyone can volunteer as full training is provided. You don't have to be aged from 15 to 24 or live in Sunderland in order to get involved, but you will have an interest in Radio and a willingness to produce creative radio programmes for young people in Sunderland.
Spark FM will look at each individual's skills and interests and encourage them to volunteer in areas of the station that suit their skills. There are many opportunities, both on air and behind the scenes with different teams involved in various aspects of a radio station such as production, sales, promotions, community liaisons, and community programming.
