Twin Resorts of Roker and Seaburn offer a great place to go whether you want to just relax or play. The long sandy beaches have lifeguards on duty during the Summer season. Location point of the Sunderland International Airshow.

Country Park

Site of a former opencast coal mine, it has been completely redeveloped as parkland and as a wildlife conservation area. A key location for large scale outdoor events. Walk, cycle, horse ride, use the skate park or just relax!
